Overview of the Role
The Group Head will assume responsibility for managing the Spark department's relationships with some of the UK's leading West End agencies. He/she will meet regularly with senior agency personnel to promote the Telegraph's cross media Spark offering (ideas driven by market leading data insight) and will deliver innovative and cross platform content campaigns.
The successful candidate is likely to have creative solutions experience gained within a media owner or will have worked within an agency overseeing cross media briefs. They will have experience of proactively building relationships with senior management within the UK's leading advertising agencies.

Responsibilities include:
- Responding to advertising agency briefs and establishing strong relationships with senior agency personnel.
- Proactively building relationships across various levels within the agency, from buyers to planners and account managers.
- Working collaboratively with a team of Group Heads to drive creative vision and revenue for the department. Developing industry knowledge and expertise to further represent Telegraph Spark.
- Writing strong creative proposals including developing editiorial ideas based on unique insight.
- Delivering innovative advertising campaigns that effectively maximise the Telegraph's multi media offering and maximise the group's revenue from leading agencies.
- Proactively marketing the Spark position across all levels of the nominated agency patch (case studies, examples, and credentials).
Specific requirements / skills
- The successful candidate will have experience gained within the Creative Solutions department of a leading media owner or within a multi media advertising agency.
- Experience of managing or mentoring employees is desirable.
- Experience of developing innovative multi media advertising campaigns is essential.
